This pet-friendly community offers two dog parks and a boutique pet shop. Yes, flood insurance is required, but what better place to be with Tampa General Hospital, a private airport, and a yacht club for the avid sailor just out your front door? The yacht club even offers sailing camps or join a sailing crew for the weekly races.

For the kiddos, Davis Island is great for riding bikes, playing in the parks and baseball fields, catching a game of tennis, or visiting the community rooftop pool. This is the perfect place for pirates since the Gasparilla parade can be viewed from land and sea each year.

Home to mayors and professional athletes like Brady, Jeter, and Stamkos, my family roots on Davis Islands date back to the 1960s so I can personally endorse how fabulous life on Davis Islands can be.
