How My Own Real Estate Experiences Can Help You

Hi, I’m Sophia Sanchez, Tampa Real Estate Broker. I wanted to share with you a little bit about how some of my personal and professional Real Estate experiences could really be of use to you.

If you’re considering contacting a real estate agent or someone to help you make a big transition in your life, I would say lean in. Why do it fresh and fly solo on your own when you can team up with someone who has already gone through some pretty big stuff? I consider a lot of things that I’ve experienced in my life as research to be able to help other people because I certainly have not paved the road myself. So I’m hoping to pay it forward and share some of that with you. So below are a few topics I can provide some guidance on.

Over the years, I have renovated multiple homes to the studs. I’ve general contracted a few projects by myself and am doing one this year, at a condo in Downtown Tampa.

I also had properties that went into foreclosure at the Downturn. As a result of being an agent during that time and experiencing this myself, have focused a lot on short sales and how the ins and outs of that work. So if you and your family might be coming upon a situation where you can’t make that mortgage payment, before you do anything, please reach out to me. It’s going to be of a place of no judgment. Lean in. And I can likely give you some tips and advice on how to handle that in an appropriate way that the internet may not be able to provide to you.

I’ve also dealt with permitting issues, code enforcement, rental properties, hosting an airbnb, and variances.

I had a wall put up around the perimeter of my home to create a courtyard and this was considered an addition that required a variance with the City of Tampa. Because of that experience, I can put you in touch with the right people to have something similar done.

If you feel you need just someone to toss an idea off of or be pointed in the right direction, Real Estate or Business-wise, my drive in life is to feel useful and purposeful.
